Nurturing Our Green Space
A Collaborative Arbor Day Initiative
Today, the College joined forces with the MAST Community to breathe new life into the front area of the MAST. Our collective effort aimed to create a cleaner, more vibrant space for everyone to enjoy. Activity includes pulling weeds, trimming down overgrown plants, and planting more floras to beautify the landscape and contribute to a healthier ecosystem. The Archbishop led the charge, setting an example for all of us. Alongside dedicated executives from the Diocesan office, we worked side by side, fostering a sense of teamwork beyond our usual roles. The children of the college community enthusiastically participated in planting and cleaning up, eager to contribute to the revitalization of our green space. Their involvement showcased the importance of instilling a sense of environmental responsibility from a young age and emphasized the inclusive nature of our collaborative efforts. After a day and a week of hard work, we gathered to savor some well-deserved light, nutritious refreshments. It was a moment to appreciate our shared commitment to environmental stewardship. This project extends beyond aesthetics. It’s about promoting healthy living, physical activity, and caring for our planet. By collaborating with the MAST Community, we’ve not only revitalized our space but also strengthened our bonds as a community. Let us continue nurturing our green oasis, knowing that every effort contributes to a more vibrant, resilient environment.
