This past weekend marked a significant milestone for the Moana Men's Ministry as members from across the diocese gathered at the MAST for their first-ever Diocesan Meeting. The event was a time of fellowship, discussion, and vision-setting, with a strong focus on formalizing the ministry as an official body within the Diocesan structure.

Men from various parishes came together, united by a shared commitment to spiritual growth, service, and leadership. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the ministry's journey so far and chart a clear path forward. Key topics of discussion included defining the mission and objectives of the Men's Ministry, its role within the Diocese, and the structural framework needed to ensure its sustainability and effectiveness.

A pivotal outcome of the meeting was the decision to mandate a working group to draft a new Constitution for the Moana Men's Ministry. This Constitution will serve as the foundational document outlining the ministry’s governance, purpose, and activities. The working group has been tasked with preparing the draft in time for presentation to the Diocesan Standing Committee in July. Their work will be instrumental in securing official recognition for the ministry and strengthening its ability to serve the spiritual and social needs of men across the Diocese.

The gathering was more than just an administrative meeting—it was a moment of spiritual renewal and recommitment. Participants left encouraged and motivated, ready to contribute to the growth of a ministry that will uplift and empower men in their faith journey.

As the working group begins its crucial task, the wider Moana Men's Ministry community is invited to pray for wisdom, guidance, and unity in the process. The journey toward formalization has begun, and with God’s grace, the ministry will continue to flourish and make a lasting impact.

Stay tuned for updates as we move forward in faith and action!
