Enriching Learning Experience

The journey of learning at St. John the Baptist Theological College is marked by the immersive experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Wayne Tu’inukuafe, a first-year student, had the honor of accompanying Archbishop Sione ‘Uluilakepa as his chaplain to St. Michael & All Angels parish at Matata, Lami for the significant ceremony of confirmation, welcoming children into the church’s fold. The students will take turns participating in His Grace's engagement, with the opportunity to learn firsthand from His Grace's guidance.

In a hands-on approach to their curriculum, students ventured to the Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral and St. Luke’s parish. There, they explored the sacred liturgical spaces and participated in the services, gaining a profound understanding of diverse worship practices. This practical exposure is a vital component of their course this semester, enriching their academic pursuits with real-world ecclesiastical insights.
