BS504 - Women in the Bible

Course Overview

• This paper allows students to explore the colorful women in the Bible, their portrayal and the social issues arising from their presence. It looks at how their Biblical images are being interpreted by popular culture. Students will be introduced to different women in the Bible and their roles, the social issues that these women are facing, and will introduce the students on skills of interpreting the Bible text and to apply their knowledge in their ministry context.
